Cafe Developments

Our community café here at PBO has now been open for over a year, and as we move into our second busy summer season we are making a few small changes. So many of you want to come here & buy into our unique model, which is amazing, but we need to find ways to help cope with demand, especially at peak times!
This will hopefully make it an even more pleasurable experience for yourselves as customers, with some small changes to the feel & ambience inside, as well as some tweaks to the menu.

We have invested in a new cake display stand & a barista coffee machine as the original machine just wasn't coping with the demands we were putting on it!

These are coming this week, so we will be CLOSED on WEDNESDAY 29TH APRIL for installation & training.

There will potentially be other days that we need to close or have limited menus, or we might have community events from time to time that use the café. So, if you are planning to visit the café in particular, we advise that you check social media or give the office a wee call on 01475 744516 to check it is open & food is available that day.

We appreciate that however hard we try, we can't please everybody, but our community & our clients and trainees are always at the very heart of what we do, and we are trying to do our best to get it right for everyone.

All these changes should make managing daily operations in the café easier for our staff, volunteers & trainees, but it all comes with some learning, and adjustments take time to get used to, so please bear with us! We are such a small team & the café can get super busy!
