Health & Wellbeing

Working in partnership with Canny cycling, PBO facilitates weekly All Ability Cycling Sessions.

Canny Cycling provide training for all ages and levels of cyclists from complete beginners to advanced Commuter and other road skills.

Their trainers are Cycling Scotland qualified instructors, with them offering both one to one or group sessions to improve confidence and skills.

Parklea Health Walks

Parklea Branching Out currently run health walks once a week, supervised by one of our qualified walk leaders.

These incorporate a 45 minute flat and free social health-walk followed by a light refreshment, being supported by a trained walk leader and open to all levels of ability and fitness.

Our health walks have proven to be successful with them allowing participants to increase their physical fitness, improve their mental health & wellbeing as well as supporting weight loss goals. In addition they provide a great opportunity for participants to socialise.

Our health walks normally take place every Tuesday. We ask 1st time walkers to arrive 15 minutes early so they can be registered.
