Port Glasgow 250

There's been so much going on at PBO over the last few weeks and one of the things we missed posting about was the carpet bed that our grounds team installed in Coronation Park to celebrate the 250th anniversary of Port Glasgow.

We couldn't have done this on our own, so would like to mention those behind the scenes.

Kernock Park Plants did the magic of turning the PG250 logo into a design for the display & they provided us with the plants in pre-arranged trays. Local company Inverweld very kindly manufactured & supplied the metal framework as part of Inverclyde councils community benefits.

Then it was left for our fantastic team of staff & trainees to bring it all together - and we think they did a brilliant job!

If you are down at Coronation Park during the summer go and take a look - it's huge, you won't miss it! And if you are there when the PBO team are watering come and say hello!

Its made up of over 5,000 tiny plants.... see if you can count them all!
